The Messenger of Allah added beautiful qualities to what humanity had lost in terms of Allah (swt) revealed the Holy Qur'an as a source of life and a guide to people through the Prophet (pbuh). The Prophet (pbuh) both memorized the verses revealed to him and communicated them to the people around him. Those who responded positively to his communiqué and embraced Islam also memorized the verses revealed to him and at the same time dictated them to those who knew how to write. In this way, the Qur'an was protected from the destruction and forgetting that befell other divine books. This form of preservation gave rise to the Qur'anic memorization and the tradition of memorization. The activity of memorizing and memorizing the Qur'an, which started in the Meccan period of the Prophet's (pbuh) prophethood, continued in the Suffe, which was built adjacent to the Masjid al-Nabawi in Medina, among the Suffe Companions who had a special love for the Qur'an. These Companions, who were very diligent in memorizing, understanding and reflecting the Qur'an to life, also had a special teacher and guide, who was the Prophet (saas). Therefore, we can see the Prophet (PBUH) as the first Qur'anic teacher, the Suffa as the Qur'anic Course, and the Companions as the students of the Qur'anic Course and the first students of Islamic sciences. The Prophet (pbuh) was closely involved not only with the education and training activities in this course, but also with all the problems of the course and the students studying in this course. The tradition of learning, teaching and memorizing the Qur'an, which started in the time of the Prophet (pbuh), has become more comprehensive and systematic over time. Since then, the Qur'anic service, which has continued to the extent of the conditions and possibilities of each era, continues today in the male and female Qur'anic courses opened by the Presidency of Religious Affairs in all corners of our country and in the project Imam-Hatip schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. Again, this service against the Qur'an is continued in Qur'an Courses opened or supported by non-governmental organizations. It is very normal to have some problems wherever there are human beings. The important thing is to be aware of these problems and to strive for a solution. Qur'anic Courses where hafiz education and training activities are carried out are also one of the places where some problems are experienced. This study aims to identify the problems encountered in hafiz Qur'an Courses and to suggest solutions to these problems within the scope of the possibility. The study is limited to the Regional Boarding Boys' Qur'an Course affiliated to Burdur Provincial Muftiate. For this purpose, in order to reveal the administrative aspect of the issue, first of all, an interview was conducted with the manager responsible for the Qur'anic Courses in Burdur Provincial Muftiate, and an effort was made to obtain the problems and solution suggestions regarding hafizah from the administrative point of view. In the second stage, questions were asked to the teachers who are currently responsible for continuing the education activities in the course on the basis of the evaluation template prepared before, and in line with the answers given, the instructor dimension of the issue was tried to be revealed. Regarding the parents' side of the issue, the parents of the students who are currently studying in this course and the parents of the students who had students in this course before and completed their hafizah or quit hafizah for any reason were interviewed, the opinions of those who continued their education were taken, and the reasons why those who quit their education did not continue their education were tried to be determined. Finally, the opinions of both the students who continued their hafız education and the students who dropped out for some reason were consulted. In the light of all these data, the framework of the study was formed as follows: First of all, in order to identify the main problems encountered in the hafiz boarding Qur'anic Courses, student-related problems, then the problems arising within the scope of administration, legislation and family-related issues were tried to be revealed. Afterwards, the answers and comments on the questionnaire conducted to determine the status of the Regional Boarding Qur'an Course instructors in terms of professional competence were included. Subsequently, the opinions of the parents on the subject are mentioned and solution suggestions are presented on how to make hafiz education more qualified.
